Each December the Concord Museum in historic Concord, MA, exhibits Family Trees: A Celebration of Children’s Literature.
It is a month-long celebration in which the museum’s galleries are filled with fanciful trees of all shapes and sizes, decorated with original ornaments inspired by acclaimed children’s storybooks and contemporary picture book favorites. This will be the 22nd year of Family Trees.
Peter H. Reynolds will join the celebration on Dec. 10, at the author and illustrator day. His two books, Happy Dreamer and The Water Princess have been selected by a decorator to be highlighted on a tree in the exhibit. Peter H. Reynolds was a Family Trees Honorary Chair in 2014, and is looking forward to coming back again this year!
See over 100 trees decorated in picture book themes. Peter H. Reynolds will be there displaying his Happy Dreamer and Water Princess trees and signing books.
