Award-Winning author and illustrator of The North Star, The Dot, and Ish, Peter H. Reynolds, will be presented with the Distinguished Eagle Award .

The award is only given to Eagle Scouts who have enjoyed the rank for 25 years and  "who have received extraordinary national-level recognition, fame, or eminence within their field, and have a strong record of voluntary service to their community.” The event will take place at the Westin Copley Hotel in Boston, MA.
