Peter H. Reynolds to Keynote NSEA U 2023
Peter H. Reynolds, New York Times best-selling author/illustrator and founder of FableVision Learning, is excited to join Nebraska educators at Nebraska State Education Association University 2023 on July 17, 2023. He will provide an inspirational virtual keynote message.
Following Peter’s keynote, FableVision Learning will deliver in-person sessions for teachers. Sessions will use Peter’s books as scaffolding and will provide hands-on activities to help teachers explore concepts, build self-esteem and, finally, have activities to support bringing the skills back into the classroom.

PETE&C Workshop with Paul Reynolds: FabMaker Studio: K-8 Design and Fabrication
Join Paul Reynolds on Monday, February 13 at the Pennsylvania Education Technology Expo & Convention 2023 for his workshop, FabMaker Studio: K-8 Design and Fabrication.
In this immersive session, participants will explore a hands-on toolset to immerse K-8 students in digital design and fabrication. FabMaker Studio is a web-based app that lets students to design and create 2D and 3D objects using paper or card stock. Digital designs can be fabricated using a basic printer and scissors or low-cost Silhouette cutting machines.

This hands-on, STEAM-powered SEL workshop will focus on the power of storytelling/picture books to develop 21st century skills and growth mindset required in STEM learning and innovative/inventive thinking. The session also offers hands-on, extension activities related to the books’ themes, featuring easy, digital engineering design & fabrication.

FableVision Learning Workshop at Tennessee Art Education Association Fall Conference
On Saturday, Nov. 5, FableVision Learning Andrea Calvin and Jane Reynolds are excited to connect the dots at the Tennessee Art Education Association Fall Conference.
They will be running a hands-on workshop session titled “Start With A Story: Tools to Introduce STEAM/SEL Concepts Through Picture Books”. This workshop will focus on the power of picture books to build the head and heart connection as we explore Start With A Story, a unique program that ties to the works of Peter H. Reynolds to hands-on and technology-based activities/projects. Participants will receive a one-month classroom demo of the web-based tools used during the workshop and lessons to use in the classroom/library space.

Peter H. Reynolds to Keynote Tennessee Art Education Association Fall Conference
On Saturday, Nov. 5, Peter H. Reynolds will keynote the Tennessee Art Education Association Fall Conference. The topic of discussion is “One Brave Dot”. Along with sharing The Dot story (and the story behind the story), Peter will also share thoughts about his other “message books” which support critical social emotional development. Peter will conclude his talk with a reading of BE YOU! - which he calls his “handbook for amazing human BEings.” Attendees of all ages will leave feeling inspired and ready to use their gifts, talents and strengths to move the world to a better place.
