All We Need is Love and a Really Soft Pillow - Book Launch Event

Book Launch Event with Peter H. Reynolds and Henry Rocket Reynolds - Saturday, Sept 30, 2023!

Award-winning children's illustrator Peter H. Reynolds and his son Henry Rocket Reynolds will be celebrating the publication of their new picture book collaboration, All We Need is Love and a Really Soft Pillow, on Saturday, September 30, with a reading of the book and remarks on stage during the event about how this heartwarming picture book came to be. Q and A will follow.

This event will take place aat the Dedham Community Theatre, directly across the street from The Blue Bunny, at 10 a.m. Free to attend but registration is required! CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.

  • Doors open at 9:30 a.m., event begins at 10 a.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes before the event begins.

  • Sales of All We Need is Love and a Really Soft Pillow and other Peter H. Reynolds books will be available for sale before and after the program. Book signing and personalizing will take place after the event.

  • Books may be pre-ordered HERE at the The Dot Central and may be picked up at the event.

Blue Bunny Event Alert: Peter H. Reynolds to Host Girl Scout Katie Hurwitz

Monday, November 6 at 7:00 pm, Peter H. Reynolds will be at the Blue Bunny Bookstore in Dedham Square hosting Katie Hurwitz who is earning her Girl Scouts Gold Award on the subject of writing in the community.

"The Gold Award represents the highest achievement in Girl Scouting, recognizing girls who demonstrate extraordinary leadership through remarkable Take Action projects that have sustainable impact in their communities."

Young Adult Author Panel Discussion

We had so much fun at our March YA Author event, we're going to do it again! Join us on Saturday May 30th from 3 to 5pm and meet 6 awesome YA authors all in one spot for conversation, Q & A, a book-signing and super-fun time!

Participating on our panel will be:

Meet Graphic Novelist Gareth Hinds

The Blue Bunny is pleased to welcome critically-acclaimed graphic novelist Gareth Hinds back to the the store to visit. Gareth has masterfully adapted many of the classics to the graphic novel format, including Boewulf, The Odyssey, as well as Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, King Lear, The Merchant of Venice, and most recently, Macbeth. This latest of his works has received a rave review in the NY Times, as well as positive reviews in The Horn Book, PW, and Kirkus, who also selected it as one of their "12 Top Teen Titles" for February. It is also a Junior Library Guild Selection. 

All fans of the graphic novel genre are welcome and invited to take the opportunity to meet this giant in the field, all absolutely free.
