About the Keynote: Stories That Matter, Stories That Move: Navigating Change & Challenges with the Power of Storytelling
New York Times #1 best-selling author/illustrator Peter H. Reynolds is delighted to “connect the dots” with the Tennessee Association of School Librarian for the closing keynote presentation. This will be his first in-person conference speaking event since COVID cut short his global book tour for his Be You book in early March 2020.
Peter will share his collection of stories that have touched, inspired and healed millions around the globe - including The Dot, Happy Dreamer, Say Something, and The Word Collector. He will debut his upcoming new release Our Table, a lyrical fable about how little Violet tackles her family’s distraction by devices - and brings them back to the table for best kind of connectivity - the human kind.
Peter’s wish for this closing keynote is that TASL conference attendees will leave feeling their own creativity and confidence have been recharged, as they take on another challenging school year.
