Award-winning children's author and illustrator Peter H. Reynolds will be celebrating the publication of his newest picture book, Be You!, on Saturday, February 29, with a reading of the book and a screening of the animated versions of his books Say Something and The Word Collector, as well as a viewing of The Klumz, a short animated film produced by Peter Reynolds and his animation studio in conjunction with the Make-a-Wish Foundation.  Peter will offer remarks on stage during the event about his books, films, and his passion for creativity.

The film fest will be a ticketed event held at the Dedham Community Theatre, directly across the street from The Blue Bunny, at 10 a.m. 

Event details:

• Tickets are available at a cost of $5.  Ticket price includes entrance to the theatre for the film screening, and service fees and can be ordered here. Note: children age 2 and under are free. All children age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. 

• Doors open at 9:30 a.m., event begins at 10 a.m.  Guests are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes before the event begins.

• Sales of Be You! and other Peter H. Reynolds books will be available for sale before and after the film screening. Book signing and personalizing will take place after the event across the street at The Blue Bunny Bookstore.

• No physical tickets will be issued.  Names of ticket purchasers will be on a list at the venue door.

• Eventbrite ticket sales close at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning before the show.  Space permitting, tickets will be available at the door.  Thank you!
