5 Week Online Animation Curriculum

Looking for a fabulous online curriculum to introduce animation to your students?  

With a focus on grades 5 to 8, this course is designed for both remote learning and in the classroom. Students can access the lessons remotely and share evidence of their progress on assignments.

Developed with our professional animation studio FableVision Studios and founder Peter H Reynolds, the online curriculum incorporates 20 lessons based on using Animation-ish software.  Students will be introduced to the Principles of Animation and explore a range of topics from character design, to sound editing, to storyboarding.

No animation experience necessary - our turnkey curriculum includes video lessons and tutorials, including tips and advice from real, professional animators. This program does require a subscription to Animation-ish.

Our 18 Week CTE Program for Middle School curriculum goes in-depth into all the Principles of Animation, and delves into how a digital media studio works, the roles within the Studio, the relationship with clients and types of animations produced.  Students create a digital portfolio to share their work.  Certification is available.
