In October FableVision Learning hosted the MassCUE pre-conference event, offering a unique creativity retreat with Peter H. Reynolds. The professional development workshop focused on integrating high-tech and low-tech creativity tools and strategies into the classroom. Participants created great public service announcements (PSAs) using Animation-ish, our award-winning animation software.Scroll down to watch the PSAs. These are WONDERFUL!!! What a great job they did!
As a participant in this workshop, I am still wondering how Barbara Peskin got that text in there. I had a tough time writing text my first time out and would love to know her secret. :0)
Hi Beth,Thanks for posting your question! Barbara may respond with more details, but I thought I would jump in. I know she created an image of the text in another program (I believe it was Photoshop) and then used the “Import” button in Advanced-ish to import the text image. Then she used the “Transform” tool to move the text across the screen, creating the neat scrolling effect. In Advanced-ish, you can import these file formats: Photoshop, JPEG, TGA, GIF, PNG and BMP.Hope this helps! Have fun experimenting with the program. Please share any new animations with us – we’d love to see what you’re creating!
